im holding..this team has too much talent to not succeed. Klef will be teh guy running the back end of the PP when it clicks. Perhaps Ebs was a bigger part that we knew?
Is Klefbom a good buy low target right now? Do we think he and Edmonton get things back on track in the near future? Is the absence of Draisaitl really bringing this team down? I watched a few games and Klef looks a little bit lost and disjointed out there. He also made some egregious give aways. Could he lose his #1 quarterbacking gig? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
I am thinking of putting in an offer of Muzzin (who is hot) and Horqvist for him. Does that sound fair?
Cheers!

I'm holding.
I like Klefbom, just a start-of-season slump.
Definitely holding!

Klefbom is going to be fine and so is Edmonton, however in multi-cat league Hornqvist + Muzzin is not buy low...i would not do that...
Dmen are always streakier. Lower point totals than forwards (more zeros by default) and a lot of their points come from shots from the blueline - farther out and relies on deflections/traffic where luck can be a factor.
All of that to say Klefbom will be just fine.

i read this as though you are trying to ACQUIRE Klefbom. I think that's an overpayment for him as Muzzin if back on track will likely match him in points. I'd start 1-1 Muzzin - Klefbom and see if the owner bites out of anxiety over the cold start... then try a smaller add on than Hornqvist who's money in your format.
To answer your questions - yes Klef will be fine. Yes Edm will get on track. No it's not related to Draisaitl's absence although that doesn't help. No he's in no risk of losing his PP1 job (there just isn't anyone else)

..ahh dammit...acquiring Klef is a yes, but i doubt a 1fer1 will do it..

The owner would probably bite your hand offf for that in the right set up but I think you’d be silly to offer it... I like Klef (Havvanablast can testify) and think it is just a road bump right now
Experience is the teacher of all things.
I still see Klefbom as a sub 40pt D man
So if thats what you need then sure hold. but don't over hype the "McDavid factor" Even he needs a real wing man.

Great points all. In retrospect, I agree Horny and Muzzin is too much in a multi-cat league. Thanks for talking me off the ledge. I think I may have bought into the Klefbom hype a bit too much. His best season is still only 38 points. 200 shots is good but not exceptional. I think I will start with just Muzzin 1 for 1 and if he wants an add I will max out on a small one (just over waiver wire).
Again thank guys!
Rep where I can.
