Panarin for Cam Talbot ?

Have been offered Talbot for Panarin.

I would be banking on Talbot and Edmonton getting their act together. If they do, then this would help solve my goalie situation.

Otherwise,

I had been considering approaching the Holtby/ Stamkos owner with an offer of Laine, Panarin and 1 or 2 of my goalies.
His other goalie is Rask.

If you think you need to upgrade your goaltending, then Talbot for Panarin is waaay better than the other deal you're contemplating. It looks like you have by far the best forward group in your league and could afford to replace Panarin with a FA. As much as I enjoy watching them lose , I think the Oilers will turn it around and you'll have a top 5 goalie in Talbot. I would question if you think you really need to upgrade your goaltending with three solid starters and Hellebuyck playing well, but if you do, Panarin is a good price to pay.

I'm not so sure you need the goalie upgrade. I'm guessing you plan to keep McDavid, Crosby, and kuch or OV? Would you keep a goalie in your league (I wouldn't think so)? If yes then Talbot would definitely be a goalie keeper upgrade.

Who's available on the wire to replace panarin? Goalie stats are a quarter of your cats but I feel like you've got it covered pretty well.

Overall panarin is a cheep ish price to pay for Talbot I'm just not sure which makes your team better yet.

I think that's the right decision in your situation. In a lot of leagues i think Talbot would be robbery for panarin alone. Good decision.
