Grubauer dropped (add for handcuff?)

12-team Yahoo pool (10 categories, W/GAA/SV% for goalies)
Start 2 per day, 5 bench spots, 164 max goalie GP

Current goalies:
Braden Holtby
Thomas Greiss
Craig Anderson
Mike Condon

In this league quality starts are way more important than frequency of starts. For example, last year I left about a dozen goalie games on the board and finished 1st in all 3 goalie cats. If I add Grubauer that gives me all 82 Washington starts. Would you drop Greiss or Condon (breaking up my Sens duo)?

Note: Last year my goalies were Holtby/Grubauer/Anderson/Condon for most of the year

I would much rather have the Capitals duo then the Sens duo. Then as you mentioned you get all 82 starts from Washington rather than all 82 from Ottawa.

Then pick and choose between Greiss and Anderson and their matchups to get the other games needed.

I just struggle with the idea of Greiss holding it together the whole year hence me debating between dropping him before Condon.

I hear ya... but the way I see it is that Greiss has been able to hold it together better than Halak each of the two past seasons. Last season Halak even got sent to the AHL. So I tryst Greiss to keep the gig more than I would trust Halak in NYI.

As Greiss has the ability to post quality starts - surely Greiss gives you the option to maximise those ‘optimal’ starts whereas with the tandems you are committed to all games. I like Grubauer but not convinced he outperforms your other options
