Found this on MSN sports. Vancouver only Canadian NHL team not on the list.

Gotta be Toronto, though Montreal is going to be best at points/NHL player (see sortable link below).
But Windsor produces the best PIM/player rate... not, even close. [dragged down by that lightweight, Rick Kehoe!!!]
    (Min. 20 NHLers)

22,682 PIM between just 50 NHL players!

[For those in the RHRS, note Cam Fowler's inclusion as only "American" among Windsor-ites, like me!]

ps. Vancouver sorts as 12th (see link above), just ahed of Moscow, Kitchener, Kingston, and then Stockholm Sweden at 16... then London, Windsor, QC/QC and the Sault to round out the top 20.

That's odd. Just by a quick google I was able to find Lucic, Glenn Anderson, Paul Kariya, Joe Sakic, Ryan Johansen, Turris, Ladd, Evander Kane, Troy Brouwer, Kerfoot, Barzal, Sam Reinhart, Martin Jones, Jordan Weal, RNH, Alzner, Ronning, McCarty, Seabrook, Stetcher, Morgan Rielly, Shea Theodore, Danton Heinen, Brendan Morrisson, Jujhar Khaira, and Jason Garrison are all from the Vancouver Metropolitan area.

I thought Vancouver would be producing more than it has. I know their rep teams always have the upper hand on teams in my area but they also have a larger pool to select their players from. From the BC Interior where I am from, I can only think of a few players that have made the NHL in the past 10 or so years off hand so not many coming from here.

But like my friend once told me, it's not always the most talented players that make it sometimes. That it comes down to opportunity and for whichever reason some players have that luxury over others. I even watched an interview where Carey Price admitted that a lot of it has to do with getting the right opportunity at the right time. Everything fell into place for him.
