So they went 0-6 in the pre-season and now they have lost 5 of 6 in the regular.
This is quite a shit show Bergevin has conjured up. If this is the product, Price will struggle to win 20 games. In fantasy he will be essentially useless. Maybe I can get something for him if I trade him now.

Let's be fair, they were playing SJ last night, in SJ, and haven't won there since something like '97.

Not sure why this is such a surprise, Price wasn't going to hold his opponents to 1 goal or less forever. Should have fired Bergevin years ago, it's unreal the Habs didn't win a cup with Price in his prime.

I'm not sure I totally agree with this. I don't think most expected the Habs to be as good as the Oilers this year so the Oilers are a bigger disappointment to this point in the season.
Oilers fans have been saying WTF since game two.

I think Montreal will be fine.
I think the Markov loss is a bit underappreciated - people (fans) still don't value how important good defensemen are to team performance.
The whole world is "Oh, scoring!... oh, goaltending!".
Bleh.
I'm a fan of the Hab top 4D (incl. Mete)... I can't say I'm a fan of their line combinations.
I still think Danault needs to play Bozakian top two lines and let two good wingers go.
I'm not a big fan of Drouin/MaxPac together... rather see MaxPac back with Danault.
Reminds me a bit of how people salivated over Jeff Carter & Rick Nash joining in CBJ - sometimes, two shooters just doesn't work.
(And yes, Drouin is a deft passer - but I think his value is as a shooter first).
I like Lehkonen with Drouin, just not MaxPac.
They'll figure it out.
They are getting shots - but I think the team chemistry with the added pieces is still a bit out of whack.
I still think they'll be a playoff team.

I didn't expect the Habs to be anywhere near as good as the Oilers either, so yeah, the Oilers have been a bigger dissapointment so far this year. I guess that was the point I was trying to make. One of the favorites to win it all, have only 2 points so far. Thats 1 more than the last place team overall, Arizona.

What player off the Isles (aside from JT) could actually move the needle for the Habs though? Brock Nelson? Some other second-tier shmuck? Maybe they are going after a D, there are a couple of decent vets there.
And what do the Habs have to trade at this point? Their minor-league system is pretty bare so I guess its draft picks.
