    Default Is Aho droppable?

Hi all, for the team in my signature, I'm a thin at either C or RW. If I slot Seguin in as a center, I'm left with only Kucherov and Aho to deploy at RW. If I shift Seguin to RW, then I've only got 2 centers on my roster to use in 3 active roster spots. Aho has had a rough start, and I know it's still too early in the season to tell whether or not he's going to start producing. But would you swap him out for any of the following centers or RWs, or should I stand pat and give it a few more weeks:

    - Brown
    - Couturier
    - Brassard
    - Hartman
    - Stastny
    - Killorn
    - Boeser

    Positions - 3C, 2RW, 2LW, 4D, 2G, 5 Bench, 4 IR, 1 prospect

    This.

Not to mention he has 9 shots which also counts in this league...

Aho looked good late last season. Plus, Lindholm is a notorious second half shiner. Dropping him now would come back to haunt you.

Fair point, I didn't realize they've only played 3 games while most other teams have played 5 or 6.

Based on our scoring setup, his 2 assists and 9 shots in 3 games are nice, but he's got goose eggs for every other category, which puts him outside the top 220 players (excluding goalies) based on average fantasy points per game. Thanks for the sanity check though. I'll hold for now because I could see this coming back to bite me in the butt.

If you're holding out hope for multi-cat dominance, then you should drop him. He's not going to contribute very much ever in the Hits, PIMs, Blocks categories.

If anything the mistake here would be acquiring him in the first place. Not sure he's going to be overly great in this format...

It's really SOG and PPP that are the other big multicat categories that add value in our league. PIM and Hits are not categories and BLKS are nice, but really are meant to increase the value of Dmen. Based on the players I listed, and the couple of multi-cats that are relevant in my league, would you recommend any changes?

Yea Im not sure this is fair criticism. Hes shown propensity as an avid shooter and its just a matter of time before he starts to rack up ppp. 25 goals as a rookie is nothing to sneeze at either. You can find your hits and blocks elsewhere...

There's no HITS in his scoring!

But I agreed, Aho is great offensive talent and fits your scoring just fine.

You're not really expecting to get much value from BLKS from your Forwards anyways. The (0.7)BLK points will help add value to your d-men.

Lol- ok so whats the issue??

jesus- 0.4 per sog compared to 2 and 3 for assists and goals?? Volume shooters should be your bread and butter in this league. Aho is a very strong play in this format.

Hold for now, but the best guy on that list IMO is Stastny playing on the top line again with Taresenko.
