Long-term, I might go with Girard but he won't have much opportunities in Nashville unless they trade one of their top-4 D-men and Girard could go back to junior this season (although I think they might keep him but it's a realistic possibility nevertheless).
Djoos is in the NHL to stay and his opportunity is good now that Niskanen is out injured, so if you want short-term production, I think he's the better choice.
Agree with JP here.
I hope Girard sticks around, but there are going to be factors that play in to that (burning his ELC, Josi returns, etc.)
Djoos actually just had his immediate potential improved.
Long term, I like Girard though.
