Goaltending on my team is a hot mess. I have faith Talbot and Dubynk will get it together. I had high hopes for Mason this year but 2 bad starts followed by 3 wins for Helly has me debating a swap. Grab Helly or wait for Mason to get another shot??

I’d be leaning Helly myself, but I was never a believer in Mason to begin with as a Jet.

It will be Helley's crease for the rest of the year. He is a very good talent provided he reaches his potential. Mason's inconsistency has become par for the course every season no matter where he plays.

For a 1 year league, I don't think Hellebuyck or Mason's value has changed too much. I think Hellebuyck's play to start the season may have changed the splits for the season from 30-50 to 40-40.
I will say that Helly looks like an elite goaltender in the making...just like he was projected to be. He was/is still a young goalie, early in his development and development is rarely linear, so people that gave up on him after last year were premature. Moving forward (long term), he's going to be their guy.
