Is this guy done? He wasn't spectacular last year before the concussion and this year has yet to earn a point. Is he breaking (broken) down or is a rebound in line?

No he's not done. He's 4 games in. I'm not expecting much more than the 55-60 point range though

Never liked him fantasy wise, but he'll probably randomly plot another 60 pt season, you'll just never know when it is.
I tend to stay away from risky picks like this one.

Agree with others. Okposo has some 60 + point seasons left in him, but is seems to be taking him a while to shake off his mysterious illness and get back into game shape. At this point though nobody would blame a guy for dumping Okposo if they have some other decent options on the waiver wire. I am holding on in one league for another week. got him late around 209th in a draft thinking I had a steal. That said, all of Buffalo seems a bit sluggish out of the gate

His "mystery illness" was just a reaction to medication, if you take the explanation at face value which makes sense. He is probably good for usual production - maybe a bit less due to lack of conditioning and a slower start.
Still nothing from this guy. Im debating dropping in my yearly league which is a lot shallower....but feel like I have to hold on in my keeper.
OK. I dropped him. Lots of guys on the waiver who can compare even when he is playing normal. He has a higher gear and I think we see it again, but I am not gonna carry him until that time comes.

I agree. +1
Probably a good call on what you are saying there. I like Okposo, but in a shallow league, there are likely other, more productive options.
Good call.
I still believe in Okposo and think he can get back to where he was by the end of this season.
"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary, full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen." - Sterling Archer
"Don't spray that urine on my sons window. If you want a dollar for doing nothing, walk to Canada." - Malory Archer
“Anyone who thinks the pen is mightier than the sword has not been stabbed with both.” - Lemony Snicket
I think Okposo is close to donzo. Pending if he can recover from his serious medical issues.
Avoid him this year. Facing a serious nuero disorder is Uber stressful. Wish him all the best.
If he can return to his former self maybe 50-55pts seasons...but at this point and time (highly doubtful)
Alot for a person to take in...

I have yet to see Buffalo play this season, so can't comment.
I do see that he has 14sog in 5gp, which is pretty solid, playing 18min.
Last line combo was with ROR & Reinhart, which is a very solid line 2.
Unless I see him on line 3, I'd have faith he'll score at a 50-55pt rate - which is pretty solid, depending on league depth.
That's what I'm hoping for 50-55 with upside for more if he gets hot.
I have watched a couple Buffalo games and believe me you're not missing anything. They look bad. I happened to get a few buffalo players at what I thought to be a serious discount during the draft but it hasn't paid off so far.
From Yahoo.....made me put him in my lineup tonight.
Kyle Okposo practiced alongside Jack Eichel and Evander Kane on Monday.
Advice: Okposo spent a lot of time on the bench on Friday, but he looked a lot better during Saturday's contest, which has gotten him out of the doghouse. "Still looking for more, still looking for production," Okposo said. "That's something that I've prided myself on the last number of years, and it's not there right now. I thought the work was better definitely and created some opportunities … but I've got to produce." Okposo has an assist and minus-six rating in seven contests this season so he's still has a long way to go, but at least he's in a position to succeed.Kyle Okposo practiced alongside Jack Eichel and Evander Kane on Monday.
