Out played over what sample size...? Mason will get back in... Jets have 4.1 million reasons for it to happen
What to do? I don't want another manager to pick up Hell-Boy. He has clearly outplayed Mason...
Thoughts?

Experience is the teacher of all things.
For now, yes, in a one-year league, drop Mason and pick up Hellebuyck.
Once the season gets underway, most GMs are only paying attention to the THIS year numbers.
So if it a standard depth pool (and as long as goalies are in't UBER high demand), then Mason should be safe on the wire.
Mason's not terrible.
It's not uncommon for a goalie on a new team to get rocked. (see Raanta, Antti & Elliott, Brian... though conversely Mike Smith & MAF have seemed just fine.)
It takes a while to learn how your teammates play in front of you and what kind of shots they let get through.
Mason also had a top 3 offense to start against him (Toronto) and then a tough game @ Calgary.
Hellebuyck played well against an (overrated) EDM team and VAN is a bottom 5 NHL team.
WPG has CAR, then CBJ, then MIN coming up.
Watch those games carefully and be ready to re-drop Hellebuyck for Mason.
At the start of the season, the 1A goalie has a "two game rocked" leash and back-ups have a "one game rocked" leash.
So it'll be back to Mason if Hellebuyck gets pounded.
It's gonna take 4-5 straight solid game by either goalie to be re-declared as the #1.
It's a time-share until then.
I've watched the jets this year. I think it's clear that Hellebuyck is a tier better than Mason at this point. Either way, and especially after Masons start, neither will have too much rope
Would he be a spot starter? If you're not relying on his starts I would rather have Helly.
