    Default Wild Forwards

Nino Neiderreiter, Charlie Coyle and Marcus Foligno were all injured for the Wild tonight. The Wild ended the game with only 8 forwards as they started with 11. Coyle and Nino have been ruled out for Saturday. With Granlund and Parise also on the shelf, the Wild don't have cap space to recall anyone.

I would not be surprised if Dumba lines up as a winger on Saturday. Either that or Mike Reilly, who has been their 4th best dman so far this season, is sent to Iowa and Kurtis Gabriel or another cheap forward is recalled.

Well, that's good news for Joel Eriksson Ek who should receive lots of ice-time now.

It would be great to see Luke Kunin get a game in the NHL but as you said, they don't have cap space to call up anyone. Unless they can move Granlund or Parise to LTIR.

Not sure what the injury to Coyle is but it was likely caused by getting hit in the back of a leg by a shot.

Nino has a high ankle sprain.

Foligno broke a bone in his face.

Reilly has been sent down and Kunin has been called up so Dumba won't be playing forward. I have been saying they should play him as a forward for a few years but it doesn't look like that's ever going to happen. Kunin will be making his NHL debut on Saturday. Expect Parise to draw back into the lineup as well.

More accurately, John Hayden broke a bone in Foligno's face.
