I'm following this guy since Chicago traded for him (and Saad obviously). Can he be the guy, who will take the reigns from Crawford on some days? I picked him up for free in a 20 team multicat league, where I have just Allen and Murray, nobody else. So I can wait for him, but just want to get another insights on him.
Crawford still has 2-3 years left at the very top of his game. Forsberg will be around the right age at that point to take over the starting job but who knows what happens between now and then and if he ever becomes that guy.
For now, I'd expect Crawford to play about 55 games, so there's about 25 games available for Forsberg if he plays well enough. It could go down to 20 if he struggles, though.
I have Forsberg as well - Drafted him simply because Chicago has 17 back to backs (3rd most) and they are a good team, so I expect a decent amount of Wins in those starts
Also, from what I understand Forsberg is a good goalie prospect, fwiw...
