Has anyone watched the Arizona games so far? I was wondering how OEL was playing after coming back from an injury. Wondering if it's all ok now or if it'll be one of those "an early injury bothered him all season long, which definitely hindered his production" type injury.

    Thanks!

Make it 3 in observation. Given my 4 keeper D were Karlsson, Josi, OEL and Yandle... oye vey I need some help on my blue line (although Mike Green has been a welcome surprise to date)

Watched some of the Vegas/ARZ game the other night, and though I was more so watching Vegas, I have to say I noticed Goligoski if anyone on the ARZ blue line. That's not to say OEL was bad. A simple game from him would be good, but he got to where he is by being more than simple. On that small sample size I would say he didn't look like the OEL or 2-3 years ago, but that's a tiny sample size, and I would need to watch another game or two before really drawing any conclusions.

Doug MacLean from sportsnet @ noon commented on him yesterday. Said he was playing awful. Worst he's seen him play. I own him too but have not watched a single second of him. Maybe the knee is still tender. Won't last for long though. Not expecting more than 44-46 this year.

I am not seeing the OEL that I used to know of. Today's game was also a disaster.

I'm also a little worried about him. I'd never consider this in the past but starting to wonder if I should think about making a lateral move for a dman on a better team.

Watched some of the Boston game, Yotes looked terrible. Bad turnovers, coughing up the puck behind their own net, fanning on wide open shots, etc. They just looked easy to play against. OEL didn't look particularly bad. He made some slick plays and sniped a nice goal. Interesting to note that he was paired with Adam Clendening, the poster boy for a fringe NHL'er.

Tiny sample size, but savvy GM's might see this as a good time to buy-low on OEL if you can take the hit on he +/- . I don't believe the Yotes can get any worse from and OEL won't be paired with Clendening forever. There will be some growing pains with all the young players Arizona are bringing in, but I think the only way is up.

Thankfully my league only counts G's and A's so I am hoping that ARI is just experiencing some growing pains and things will sort themselves out.
