Of those two, I choose Markstrom.
When to hold em, when to fold em.. Obviously managers are anxious to make the right decision and panic can be a decision for a manager to drop within the first couple starts. I find myself in that position right now. Markstrom posts a win over EDM last night, while Mason and WPG get rocked second straight start in a row. Question here is, who is the better gamble long term in a keeper league. On paper you would expect WPG to be the better defensive team. So, do I pick up Markstrom and drop Mason? Do I pick up Markstrom and shelf Mason for a bit, then decide who to drop. Second option would just involve dropping a forward for a week or 2 while monitoring play of both goalies. Any help would be appreciated.

I like Mason more for thisyear. Wouldn't worry too much about the first couple of games. I mean.. Murray let in 11 goals in 1.5 games.
However, if you're unsure and are able hold an extra goalie then grabbing Markstrom now and holding on to them both and making a more informed decision later is certainly the best option.
