I also thought this was going to be some sort of dispute resolution thing.... haha.

If you joined Discord for the first time there is a 5 minute probation period you can't send messages in any chat channel. In addition you cannot send messages in the Welcome chat channel (this is intended)
Try again in general should be good

I can’t compare it to those two as I’ve never used them. But at the end of the day, it’s not too different than other messaging apps. One thing a bit unique is the multiple “channels” in particular servers to keep different subjects organized.
