Keeper: Quick or Vasilevsky?

Having a tough go with this one guys. Who is better this year and in the forseeable future?

I was up in the air and then saw you already had Price and Holtby. I'll take the higher Risk/Upside at that point with Vas.

Thanks! Would love some more input on this before making a final decision. Had originally decided to keep Quick but am tempted to switch.

Makes sense to me. Swing for the homerun since you won't be relying on him. How on earth do you have Price, Holtby, Quick and Vasilevskiy in a 12 team league?

lol I drafted Price 6 years ago, picked up Holtby before he was a starter in WSH, traded for Quick and picked up Vasilevsky before he was the starter in Tampa. Seems like the consensus here is Vasilevsky over Quick. Quick's injury last year hurts his upside a bit.

Exactly this.
I would be uneasy having only Vas, but with your depth swing for the fences and take the younger guy with big potential.

W: Kucherov, Kessel, Panarin - Releasing Perry, Guentzel
D: Subban, Shattenkirk - Releasing Doughty, Yandle, Suter (this hurts)
G: Price, Holtby, Vasilevsky - Releasing Quick

Guentzel has been putting up stupid numbers in preseason... 9 points in 3 games. I would be tempted to find a way to keep him if possible... I guess that would mean dropping Monahan, Kessel, or Panarin, though.

Edit: To humor you though, I think Vasilevskiy will be better this year in the foreseeable future.

I'm going to have to let go of Guentzel, which hurts. Contemplating keeping Doughty over Monahan given my stats and 3 starting D slots, but Monahan is a top 30 ranked keeper skater on Dobber. Tough.
