Viktor Rask & 5th round pick 2018 for Justin Faulk - Toughts?

With Hampus Lindholm, Sami Vatanen and Torey Krug out for the beggining of the season, i need another defensemen in my points only keeper league if another one of my def (Keith, Rielly, Klingberg, Werenski, Pulock) get injured. I ask for Justin Faulk and the other GM want Viktor Rask and my 5th round pick in 2018. Your thoughts? Should i do that trade, i think i should but i ask for your opinions on that proposal to help me!

Depending on how deep forwards are and who is available in your draft, I think it makes sense. That could change with some added info though.

Thank you! My draft is already done, i pick in order (Werenski, Konecny, Boeser, Connor, Pulock, Saros) we usually have 5 draft pick but i get a 2nd 5th in a trade last year. We can't claim on waiver (only 1 waiver pick per year) players with entry level contract so its why certain of those players are only drafted this year. Second year of our league!

I like the trade, Faulk is a great own In Fantasy, friendly ish cap too. I'd be looking to dump rielly though, at 5 mil he needs way more pp time.

What's your current cap at? You've got some heavy contracts.

75 000 000$ we follow the current cap. Yeah at some point maybe i will try to trade Rielly but i think he will be given more offensive liberty this year playing with Hainsey. And Maybe it is his breakout year, we will see!? And before trading Rielly i plan to dump or trade Hampus Lindholm, his ceilling seems to be around 32pts on a good year and with Vatanen, Montour rising and the new contract to Fowler i dont see him getting prime pp minutes anytime soon!
