Even if you really like Dubnyk for this year (as I do) I think you can still snag him with your second or third pick. He should still be there at 23 OA (assuming a snake draft). A guy like Burns or Ovi won't be. If you value Dubnyk as much as Price or Holtby, and you turn out to be right, there's a chance to gain some real value over your competitors.

Thanks man! 2nd round I grabbed Marchand. 4th round I got Hamilton, followed up in order with Suter, Voracek, Faulk, Monahan and Carlson.That's 9 rounds, then I had Radulov and Saad kept at 10th and 11th. Followed up by the rest. I like this team for my format. Love that I was able to get Andersen in the 3rd. Felt good about and didn't wanna wind up with a late 3rd or early fourth tier G. Always lose something in the process but I think this is a good starting point. At least I hope so lol.. Any thought's on the squad? I plan to try to make some moves early if possible, but not gonna reach or overthink too soon. Wondering what everyone thinks of Sergachev this year as well. I think he could be a solid D but he's gotta stick.

Re sergachev... I don't think he sticks. Not unless Tampa gets desperate for D. More value for them in sending him down... pushing his ELC forward and NOT sending a compensation pick to the Habs.

Thanks man. No worries on the late reply! A lot of good people here chipped in at the right time to possibly save me from myself lol! I agree on Sergachev. I believe that would make sense as well. He's the pick where I had to make an "on the fly call" because the two guys I was looking at got nabbed right before I picked next. Hate it when that happens
