Default right for a short term re-tooling?

Have on offer to make the following swap:

get: Draisaitl + Byfuglien + 10th overall pick

give: Seguin + Burns + 7th pick overall

Hunch is its a bad deal or at best a lateral deal. cost certainty for few years is all it offers on the surface - since Seguin is UFA after 2019 season.
Byfuglien sees a drop off sooner than Burns or does the young offensive talent inflate what he can do over the next 4 years?

    Thoughts?

Don't like this for you. Even though Draisaitl is a lot younger than Seguin, he probably isn't better now or in the near future. The contract certainty is nice but Draisaitl is getting paid BIG. Although he is an amazing player and will be productive, I still want to see more from him before determining whether he's a 65, 75 or 85 point player on average. Burns is better than Buff and both are becoming elderly by NHL standards so its a tossup who goes downhill first. And you get a pick downgrade. If you do like the player tradeoff then at least get them to scrap or flip the picks - I dont see why you should give up the better pick here.

so you want to give away a first line center for a second line center and seventy point defender for a fifty point defender....put down the bottle.

You'd be giving the better more proven player in both positions and a better draft pick. Definite no from me.
