Default Your picks for 2017-18 over/under wagers

I'm looking at these sports book over/under points for this year, https://www.sportsinsights.com/blog/...-point-totals/
I see some unders I like (Chicago, Vegas) but not a lot of overs. I realize the sports book writers would want to inflate and err on the high side because most bettors are betting on their favorite teams and will be optimistic. I am fond of Buffalo, Winnipeg and Carolina and would bet on them. What would you put your hard earned cash on? Give me a few overs and/or unders. I'll be at a Nevada sports book in a few weeks and would be interested in your thoughts.

Depending on OEL's injury, Arizona over 74.5 bets is just a free money.

Anaheim under 106.5 is also free money. They are going to be without their best D and #2 C for atleast 1 month. No way they are cracking 106 pts.

    The over on Anaheim.
    The under on Arizona.
I chose these when they came out and Dom L. (theathletic.com) likes both as "locks".

I also thing Winnipeg over 92.5 is close to a lock.
That team is just too good top-to-bottom and I think Steve Mason will fit in well... as he did as a new goalie for PHI.

Over for Arizona and Under for Montreal is what I would feel safe betting on

    I got:
    Anaheim 104.5 UNDER

Injuries the main reason why, already in the hole w/o Kesler, Lindholm, and Vatanen before any games have even been played.

    Arizona OVER 76

Vrbata, Hanzal, Smith out. Chychrun gone for a while. But, additions of Hammer, Demers, Raanta, Stepan, healthy Domi and Richardson, hopefully a bounceback year from OEL, and a wave of young talent in Keller, Strome and Fischer. Forward core should be better, D should be much better, and goaltending probably about a push.

    St Louis OVER 95

Bet half on this but they consistently have been a strong regular season team and I see no reason for that to change. Acquisition of Schenn and improvement of some of their young players should balance out loss of Shattenkirk.

    Vegas UNDER 68

Closest teams to this last year were Vancouver @ 69, and Devils, Yotes @ 70. Even the Devils didn't have a D core as bad as Vegas will. The forward group isn't terrible, but lacks the players to play a team system of D that could potentially mitigate the shortcomings of their D. I feel kinda bad for Fleury.

Thanks for the strong analysis. I too had the under on the Ducks. Hadn't considered the Yotes. Definitely like the under on Vegas. The number is really inflated for local bettors. Even if they do have an ok start, come trade deadline they are unloading everything older of valuable for picks and prospects. They may not win a game the rest of the year.Actually kinda like the over on the Jackets and the under on the Habs but I'm grateful for your opinions. I'll go back and reevaluate those.

    Oops. Yup.
Arizona will get more than 74.5pts.
Anaheim will get less than 106.5pts.
