    Default Mackinnon vs Monahan

    Hi Guys,

I got an offer for my Monahan vs his Mackinnon.
Don't know what to do with this. Monahan is a safer bet for this years but I still think Mackinnon got the big upside.
Do you think Monahan is a 62pts guy? Do you think the best is coming for him and is 70-75pts a possibility?

    Thanks for your answers

I think I take my chances On Mack hitting his potential stride sooner than later. I don't think Mack will ever be a top scorer as perhaps once believed, but I do like his upside a touch more than a Monahan. And Colorado has a helluva lot more room to improve.

I agree with this. I still think MacKinnon has all of the tools to be a 70+ pt player and wouldn't be surprised if he came in around that this year.

It will be damn close, but I think Monahan will outpoint Mack this season. That said I think Mack may have a touch higher upside, just not sure he ever realizes it in Colorado.

I'm doing a cage match on MacKinnon for this Wednesday and based on what I've seen so far I'm picking him. Monahan is no slouch, but he seems to not be a player who'll ever rise consistently into the 70s, whereas MacKinnon should get there eventually and stay pretty comparable to Monahan in the meantime.

I take Mack in a limited keeper, points only league over Monahan.

Mackinnon for all the reasons mentioned above. He's a 22 year old with elite skill on a bad team. I'm betting he will figure out how to become close to a PPG player in the next couple years. Monahan may out point him slightly in the next couple years but the upside on Mack is still huge in my mind.
