In a pool (not the one in sig). Wins are 2 points, shutouts are 2 points. Do you take Vasilevskiy or Andersen?

Vas for me. One year or keeper doesn't change that answer.

I'm leaning slightly towards Vasilevskiy too. Better team, better skill, still room to improve.

I'm not sold on Vas, especially with Budaj as back-up. I'm taking Andersen, but will admit that Vas could be a huge home run if everything aligns.

Vasilevskiy for me. I think this year will be his coming out next party.

I asked this exact question a month or two ago. If memory serves back then...it was a lopsided victory for Andersen.

As such I kept Andersen and let Vas Go.

I don't at all regret my decision.

I think Andersen is everybit as good as Andersen and the Leafs are still an improving team. Less of a knock on Vas and more of an endorsement for Andersen.

Go track down my thread if you want a bit more input from the valued nation.

Here is the link. Dare I say unanimous for Andersen over Vas.
