Vasileskiy. Tampa has a solid core going forwards and with wins being 2 and only counting category... go with him!
Darling has never been the full-time starting goalie and there is only speculation that he will be. I see more of a 50-50 split.
Hi everyone,
2 for a W and plus 1 for a SO.
Not competing this year but probably trying next year and after.
Who do you prefer?
Thanks

Vasilevskiy for me.

I think this one will be a near consensus for Vasilevskiy, with perhaps a couple of exceptions.
Greater talent, better pedigree, better team, younger player, higher upside. Only thing he doesn't have over Darling is height.

Vasilevskiy for me. Relatively unproven, but has shown quality for stretches and shouldered a fair amount of starting goalie duties. Playing for a strong playoff team. I would take Vas over Darling if I was looking for wins long term.

I'm still impressed with Darling going all the way from nobody to waiver wire "darling" to hyped #1 goalie.

This will be a lot easier to answer after this coming season. Both goalies are entering their first full season as a starter. But as it stands now, the obvious answer is Vasilevskiy.

I'm not wild about either one, but I'm less not wild about Vas and Tampa is going to be elite for that time period

Vas for me. But depending on league settings (how many keepers, how many goalies start) you could target them both.
Darling Is a back up goalie who impressed and is getting a chance. Not unlike Eddie Lack...(how did that work out?).
Vas is a prospect goalie drafted To one day be the Boltz undisputed #1. Not unlike Rask, Schneider, Or Demko...(soon).
This isn't even close for me. I'll take the goalie that was drafted to be better and is in a far better team.
i think Darling will be great in Car, but you need to go with Vasil here
