If you can get RNH for Studnicka, that should be an easy win for you.

Sorry Axe, I’m looking to move RNH in this situation.

Think I'd rather drop Dadonov than RNH. None of those prospects make me overly excited.

Then find another way to shed cap. That would be a terrible trade for you.

It's gonna hurt u, but if you must...

I would ask for both Rubtsov & T Raddysh sell it with "I'm are giving up a solid performer for 2 gamble prospects"
(He would probably just hit accept before you change your mind anyways hahaha)

Bigger question: how did you end up in this situation? It's too late in the game to be caught over the cap and you're about to do a major compromise just to have a legal roster.

I'm over the cap by less than $4M. Adding Dadonov as a free agent this offseason was what put me over. As suggested I'll likely drop him but will try and test the waters and see if anyone will bite on a trade first.

This fellow GM messaged about RNH which was why I brought the trade to the forum. Wasn't going to go out of my way to lose a trade for no reason as this roster finished 2nd last season (made a few positive tweaks this offseason).

Thanks all for the input, much appreciated!

Your league must have a cripplingly low cap if this team is over it:

    C: Seguin, Zibanejad, Lindholm, RNH
    LW: Panarin, Hoffman, Palat, Dzingel
RW: Radulov, Atkinson, Strome, Eaves, Dadonov
D: Klingberg, Jones, Spurgeon, Beaulieu, C Miller, Lindell
    G: Anderson, Condon
    - I said... "God damn this tablet is heavy!"

RNH doesn't have much value in cap leagues, so if you can get a B level prospect for him, then that's fine. Maybe try to get Raddysh because of his strong season and then flip him afterwards but Dahlen or Rubtsov is just fine as well.

Dadonov is superior to RNH in points-based salary cap leagues, there's no reason to question that decision IMO. Even if RNH gets back to 55 point range, I think Dadonov will be close enough so the $2M salary difference is very significant then.

If the cap crunch is unavoidable, I'd take Dahlen for your young team.
He's my fave of the bunch.
I would've considered Rubtsov last year, but PHI is set-up a bit differently now with the Patrick-win.
