You are very week at RW at the moment so I would definitely consider this move. You lose a little in PIMs and overall points as well as obviously in FOW, but in a goal heavy league I don't hink he is a massive step down and positionally I think this trade helps you.

I like Patches over Getz, but is there really no RW that you can find that makes sense in a deal? Drouin could be one to try for.

Yeah I could actually make an attempt at Drouin same GM who has Patches has him, it's pretty tough finding someone in my league aside from myself who has multiple good RWs who aren't already set at C, I had Aho but someone offered me Giroux for him and couldn't pass that up

I like Patches over Getz too. LW hard to come by centers not so much.

Add me to those favoring Patches given your set-up and situation.

With Kesler out to start the season Getzlaf is going to get a ton of prime offensive ice time. I would hazard a prediction that he is top five scorer in mid-November. This in mind he might be a better hold for the next 60 days then sell him.

That said, to answer your question - getting a top winger and getting out from under a centre is a good strategic move. That is a good trade for you, given you centre depth.
