Default Howard + for Coleman +

10 Team H2H, PPR pretty much
    QB (1): Mariota
WR (3): J.Jones, Baldwin, M.Thomas, Tyrell Williams, Thielen, Hogan, Beasley
RB (2): Ajayi, Hunt, Coleman, Charles, West, Lacy
TE: J. Graham, Fleener (Traded for Olsen, goes through soon)
    FLEX
    K: Boswell, D/ST: KCC

I sent out a feeler offer of Coleman for Howard, he countered with Coleman+Thielen for Golladay+Howard. Is it worth it? I don't really NEED Howard, but guys on bye week 5 for me are Julio, M.Thomas, Coleman, Charles. Might help having Howard that week (does face Minny, and will he even be healthy then?)

LW: J. Robertson, Byfield (C), Guenther
RW: Pavelski (C), Giroux (C), Svechnikov (LW)
D: Fox, Makar, Bouchard, Morrissey, Gudas

I get that he's been disappointing so far, but I'd still much rather have Howard than Coleman (coming from a guy who owns Coleman).

Unless Freeman gets hurt, Coleman is very clearly the 1 B (or perhaps, even the clear #2 option) in ATL. That won't change in the foreseeable future. Howard's a little dinged up -- and Cohen has been a nice surprise -- but he's still the main fiddle there. And count me among those who has at least some concern about Cohen's ability to hold up for a long period of time given his size if he keeps getting heavy usage.

So this is exactly the kind of buy low on Howard that I'd be interested in doing.

The WR swap really doesn't impact things ... in fact, for your team, I think I'd rather have Golladay too.

Your top 3 are set. Thielen is generally underrated, but it's hard to imagine a scenario where you'd bench one of your top 3 for him. Of the two choices, Golladay is the home run option (either for high upside spot starts if you think you really need a potential explosion, or more likely as trade bait that has other owners frothing at the mouth if he shows a little more like week 1 than week 2 going forward).

All of which is a long way of saying:

    Give: Coleman + Thielen
    Get: Howard + Golladay

    I like the move.

(P.s. I'd also scour the wire this week for whatever even remotely intriguing RB might be out there to replace Lacy on the end of your bench. Assuming the obvious names are gone, one that I'd seriously consider is Alex Collins to protect yourself a little in case West misses time.)

Thielen has been my Flex week 1, benched because Bradford was hurt for week 2 (for Hogan). So I can go with Howard, Hogan, Williams, or Beasley as a decent flex.

Lacy is only still on my team because waivers go through tonight (2 or 3am Wednesday actually). He’s my drop for about 3 different ppl, as our waivers reset weekly based on standings. I’m 1st, so I have waiver priority 10/10 (meaning I’m not getting anyone right now). He'll be off my team ASAP lol.

I would do it. I don't like the game scripts CHI is likely to be in most of the season but Freeman isn't going anywhere in ATL which will limit Coleman's upside.

    I ended up doing Howard+Shepard for Coleman+Thielen

Hopefully Bradford stays not 100% which effects his chemistry with Thielen

Good move getting Sheppard in the deal. Makes losing Thielen hurt a little less
