    Default Atkinson VS Hall

    Hello,

For league in sig, I've been offered Atkinson + 1.25M cap space for Hall. The difference in salary is welcome for me as I am a little short on cap space (we can trade cap money in this league, and I'm short this year on cap space because of past mistakes haha)

Where do you project them both production-wise, points only?
I am of the idea what we can expect 60-65pts for Atkinson this year. I am hoping on a bounce back from Hall up to ~65pts, but he is injury prone.

I don't think I'll keep either long term, but you can mention what you believe they will produce in 2-3 years as it could impact the trade value of either.

    Thanks for your opinions

well for this year you may loos slight production or maybe be even with production and gain cap space. Atkinson is 3.5 to Hall 6 atm. However, if Atkinson can get north of 65 this year, his ticket next year will make you regret this due to his next contract.

IMO, Hall is a good have at 6 mil for next 3 years. i think offence in NJ will get better year to year and so will he.

I'm digging into each player's stats right now (last year only): Hall is really in up n' downs (4pts in 3, 0 in 4, 3 in 2, and so forth) whereas Atkinson has had a cold spell in the last 15 games. In H2H, itd a downer to have such unreliable production....

But, I see NJ as trending upwards and Columbus as regressing: this mixes the cards and I can't really make sense of what to expect of both players

Here are both stats sheets if you have another opinion on the matter:

I'm not high on Atkinson and last season was about as bad as it could be for Hall, and still he produced well. I'm favoring Hall here.
