    For team ad league in sig (pts only), who would you rather have?
    League 1: 10 teams Points only (Best 9F, 4D and 1G count for the season and best 8 for the playoff). Drop 4 players before a 4 round draft before season. Mini draft during all star week-end (drop one pick one available).

    I'm a big fan of Chabot. That being said, Trouba is the guy you want for this year.
    Trouba is a young stud waiting for opportunities to showcase his offensive talent. Last year he was on pace for 44 pts.

    Really doubt Chabot gets close to the 40 pts mark this year. Too much uncertainty for me with Chabot

    But do you guys think that Trouba could be in my 4 best Dman this year? That mean being ahead of Weber, Shattenkirk, Werenski, Rielly and Giordano? If not, does Chabot have better chance of being ahead of Trouba in the next few years?

    Probably not, if you're talking about this year. For points only I'd say Shattenkirk, Werenski, Weber, and Giordano will all be at or above 40. Trouba won't, for reasons I covered in the cage match I did on him a few weeks ago (link in my sig). Looking ahead, Chabot has a higher points ceiling for sure but he's not on people's radars like Trouba and has more of a risk/reward profile.
