Wennberg may be a "few" days late to camp due to a passport issue, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
A few days of missed practice shouldn't affect Wennberg's ability to be fully ready for the start of the regular season, and the 22-year-old pivot should be back with his teammates in time for their first preseason contest, which is scheduled for Oct. 19 against the Blackhawks. Wennberg, who recently inked a six-year, $29.4 million contract with the Blue Jackets, could be in for a career year in 2017-18.

Says October 19 but I think they just mean Sept 19. Chicago vs Columbus pre season game is scheduled for Sept 19,2017 7:00 PM Eastern
