I like your team but yeah, your goal tending is pretty lousy. Thankfully there are only a few cats for them.

I like your team but yeah, your goal tending is pretty lousy. Thankfully there are only a few cats for them.
Seems like you went offense-heavy early on and it cost you your D and G positions. I think you can recover from this if you are able to scoop up a backup when (if) the given starter goes down with a long-term injury. It happens every year so hopefully you'll be the quick one on the trigger when it does. Your D can surprise a few if all goes according to plan there.

that looks like a tweaked version of the ol' sporting news game used as stat multipliers.
Your D and G are problematic - you will need to make good in season moves

These types of leagues aren't my strong point. Should just stick to points only lol.
I Hate to be the one to tell you but out of those 130 teams there have got to be some of them that are Veeeeeerrrrry familiar with that scoring system.
I wish you the best of luck nonetheless.

I only have myself to blame. Spent 6 hours working on forwards and defence rankings in this set up but just thought "i'll just wing it when it comes to goalies", then in the 1st round i was going to go with Bobrovsky or Kane, went with Kane then right after that Bob went, then a whole slew of goalies thereafter. I see a couple other teams did my strategy and loaded up on forwards but we'll see, I'll try and get a trade or two done before the start of the season.
Also am not use to 1.5 minute shot clock, am a slow thinker and like to slowly analyze the situation and felt a little rushed (in real life LIVE drafts I've been called out on taking a long time) but all in all it was a fun but also a learning experience.
That is a forward heavy team. Did your brother advise the draft for you? *wink*chuckle*woof*
- I said... "God damn this tablet is heavy!"
Ha ha ha good one. After I took Kane, in the 2nd round there were goalies like Cory Schnieder as best goalie available then I went with Kucherov instead.
I can't stand goalies to begin with, they are often unpredictable and are worth in many cases more than they should be.
I was looking at the GOALIE CATS and how many points a goalie would get in a single game

Some wild swings in there (170 vs -50).

You should have jumped onboard the goalie train when it was rolling.

I've never seen a league award 15 points to goalies for giving up a goal
It would be interesting to see what other teams in your league look like, particularly a few that didn't miss the goalie run.
In Butch's league, the goaltenders are always amongst the top scorers in the league.
