    Default Two trades I'm considering

With my league settings below I've been offered

    Trade #1
Schenn and Kopitar for Letang and Hall.

I'm not totally sure about the deal, I've been slightly frustrated with Letang the past few seasons given his injury history, so part of this is also to not have that uncertainty anymore.

I feel like schenn has a lower points ceiling than Hall, but his peripherals might jive quite well with a few of my existing players and with some uncertainty with Galchenyuk in the Middle, Having a bonafide Center like Kopitar could help me solidify a foundation of FOW from the C position and Schenn could also get me some more from the C/LW position.

Trade #2 is a bit bigger
It would be his E.Karlsson + Matthew tkachuk for my Werenski/Ovechkin
I think with this trade I get a little younger, I don't lose out too much in points from Ovie to Karlsson, and I also don't lose out too much on the peripherals with Tkachuk, while picking up additional blocks with Karlsson!

I recognize I need to beef up my RW a bit and that may need to come from a third trade as neither or these teams have strong RW that I can trade for.

Both would change my team quite a bit, so I'm not entirely sure how to value one or both trades and would appreciate the communities input!

At present I'm planning for my keepers to be:
    Malkin/Galchenyuk
    Ovie/Hall
    Wheeler/Foligno
    Letang/Ristolainen
    Talbot/Rask

    With Trade 1.
    Malkin/Kopitar
    Ovie/Schenn
    Wheeler/Foligno
    Ristolainen/Werenski (Maybe Trouba)

(I'd maybe try to move Gally for a RW)

    With Trade 2.
    Malkin/Gally
    Hall/Tkachuk
    Wheeler/Foligno
    Ristolainen/Karlsson

    And with Both:
    Malkin/Kopitar
    Tkachuk/Schenn
    Wheeler/Foligno
    Karlsson/Ristolainen

    Which seems most interesting? :P

I like both deals for your team going forward. Losing OV hurts you short term mainly in the SOG category but you improve your center big time with Kopitar over Galchenyuk. Getting Karlsson is huge for you though. He may miss a bit of time at the start of the season but in a keeper, he's money.

For sure do #2, I'm inclined to not do #1, but it's close enough that if you want to do it I'd be fine with that.

    Thanks All,

I think I'm going to iron out the details with both managers of the teams and possibly do both. Its a bit exciting given its overhauling most of my core :P
