Default Bowey, Walman Ladue, Fleury or Pouliot REP!!!!

Who would you guys think would have the best chance at cracking their respective roster right now with the highest potential to put up some decent points. It is for the league in my sig. Im looking for an extra D during training camps to see if I can get lucky. Right now I have them ranked:

    Fleury
    Bowey
    Walman
    Pouliot
    Ladue

Can anyone make a case for me not to pick up Fleury?

That's Haydn Fleury you're talking about, right? He doesn't have much offensive upside. Walman is the one with the best upside but his chances of cracking the NHL roster right now are much lower, so it really depends on what you're looking for. But in a 10 team league, I don't really know if Fleury is worth a roster spot even if he makes it.

Yes that is correct. Im more looking for a long-shot home run. We had to complete our draft early yesterday and we draft 3 extra guys each year so then we have to make cuts before the season starts. More than likely this individual will not crack my roster but I wanted to grab the guy with the biggest potential to be a steal by the end of the year.

If you can put this player to your farm roster, then I'd pick up Walman from those options. He could be a really coveted prospect a year from now. But if this player has to be on your active roster, then I'd dig deeper for more options.

Don't sleep on Ladue. He's basically walking into a to 4 spot and 2nd PP time as well. Don't expect him to put up huge offensive stats, but for this year only, he's head over heels above the others. Long term, Walman is the clear choice, although there's so much offensive talent on the St. Louis defence that I don't expect too much out of him either (at least for quite a while).

    GET WELL SOON, DOBBER.

I like Bowey. He looks ready to me and WSH needs a young D to step up and I think he'll fit right in.
I think he might even force his way on the #2 PP unit. He's my darkhorse this season.

If you are looking for a home run and can wait a year, Pouliot is your choice (as much as it annoys me to say). Walman would be your next best bet.
