    Default Week 2 -- Need 2 of 3 RBs

I'm in the camp of having lost DJ, so going to be some tough sledding unless or until injuries beset other teams and possibly open up some PT, or I can manage to swing a trade.

So, half point PPR league, and I need 2 of these 3 this week at RB:

    Mixon (vs. HOU)
    Buck Allen (vs. CLE)
    Tevin Coleman (vs. GB)

    What say you?

    Weekly Starts (3C, 5W, 5D, 1Util, 2G)
    G, A, PPP, SOG, BS, +/-, GAA, W+OTL, SV%

    C: MacKinnon/Eichel/Kopitar//Pinto/Wright
    W: Ovechkin/Toffoli/Necas/Giroux/E.Kane/K.Johnson(IR)/Schmaltz/Bjorkstrand/Drouin
    D: Dobson/Trouba(IR)/Mintyukov/Gostisbehere/Martinez/Edvinsson/York/Gudas(IR)/Tanev
    G: Saros/Demko(IR)/Askarov/DeSmith

I empathize with you, I lost him as well.

In your situation I would go with

Coleman for sure. We know his usage and the game against GreenBay should be high scoring and lots of options for Coleman.

As for the other two... we don't really know their usage yet because week 1 didn't show us enough.

Mixon - He is more talented then Allen, but he is up against a tougher D in Houston. And Cincy has 3 backs that could get into the game depedning on game flow.
Allen - Less talented, I think he will be the passing down back and Cleveland is not as good as Houston.

I think I would try Allen for two main reasons:

    1) Only competing against 1 other RB more majority of snaps (West)
    2) Cleveland is not as good of D.

    3. Avoid TNF at most costs. This is one where I would avoid as wel.

T Coleman is your easy start. Then I would go with West. He has a better match up and a more defined role. Of note they added Langford to the active roster. Mixon is your most talented RB. But until his role is defined and he is producing you can't start him unless you have no other option.

Thanks, guys. Your views comport with what I was thinking. I sat Mixon (thankfully) and rolled with Coleman and Buck Allen this week.

On a related note, boy does the Bengals offense look absolutely putrid. Could be a long season there in Cinci (and for those fantasy owners invested in pieces of the Bengals O).

    Rep given.

Saw that. Does give me some optimism that they'll maybe focus on feeding talent in the near future. Let's hope so anyhow.
