I think it's close enough that there's no winner or loser here. Of course, that depends on the contract Pastrnak gets too, but from what we know, I dont think this is a bad deal for either team.

I value them about the same.
I think they'll both shake out as 67-70pt players.
Pastrnak gets the advantage if somebody told me he was going to get the full season at RW of Marchand/Bergeron.
But I think BOS eventually splits up those three to balance the top two lines out a bit.
Meanwhile, I think Gaudreau is a lock to stay on top line with Monahan - so I have a little more faith in him.
I also like the offensive-side of the CGY blueliners more than BOS.

I would take Johnny without hesitation there, he will bounce back as I predict a small regression for the whole Pasta/Marchand thing.. plus Pasta will probably cost more

if pastrnak gets 7.5+ this is great deal for you, if he gets under 6 its bad deal for you, if he gets something in the middle its a wash.

Translation:very similar talents so salary hit is the difference imo.
