UNDER: Anaheim Ducks -- 106.5 (That's just a lot of points, most of the Vegas O/Us, 2 more than PIT)
UNDER: Carolina Hurricanes -- 93.5 (Just don't think they are a 90+ pt team)
UNDER: Chicago Blackhawks -- 99.5 (This is the year things step back.)
UNDER: Dallas Stars -- 98.5 (Defense is still poor, wheels coming off Spezza, Hanzal won't even replace Eakin value.)
UNDER: Detroit Red Wings -- 78.5 (Detroit is just really bad, D among worst in NHL.)
UNDER: Philadelphia Flyers -- 91.5 (Not.quite.there, D still too young.)

OVER: Arizona Coyotes -- 74.5 (They get five games vs. VGK, kids are older, Hjalm IN, Chych in Yr2)
OVER: Edmonton Oilers -- 103.5 (The real deal)
OVER: Toronto Maple Leafs -- 94.5 (I think they are 4th/5th best team in East)
OVER: Winnipeg Jets -- 92.5 (A very solid team, things come together this year.)

Meh - most players of his value provide maybe a "WAR" (if hockey had that, sure somebody does) of 1.0-2.0pts.
Even without him, they are still pretty OK with a top 4D of OEL/L.Schenn and Goligoski/Hjalm. Not big on D5/D6, but they can just lean on the top four.
Stepan is a very solid addition for the now, and we know Keller & kids should really help overall. I'm not sure Vegas is capturing this - and they may not care with the limited betting/knowledge on hockey.

I agree it won't likely make a massive difference, but still a small hole in the lineup.

Columbus Blue Jackets -- 96.5 UNDER (Last year's they over accomplished)
San Jose Sharks -- 96.5 UNDER (Only so many points for the division and Edmonton is going to eat lots of them up)
Pittsburgh Penguins -- 104.5 UNDER (Back to back Stanley cups... anyone binge drink two nights in a row..HANGOVER)



Colorado Avalanche -- 69.5 OVER (Motivation to not be worse then the expansion team)
New York Islanders -- 88.5 OVER (Tavares in a contract year?)
Tampa Bay Lightning -- 102.5 OVER - (Presidents Trophy here)
Edmonton Oilers -- 103.5 OVER (New 'Best in the West')
St. Louis Blues -- 95.5 OVER (Points to be had with Chicago and Minny declining)
