Dallas as a team was a mess for those 3 years...a terrible and dwindling D core, as well as a very poorly managed two headed goalie monster with the Niemi situation. I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. Tampa and Dallas are apples and oranges. Bishop had those results on an incredibly strong defensive team that focused on shot suppression. Even today, Dallas' D looks nothing like Tampa's. I agree with you that Lehtonen doesn't run with the job, but in my opinion, he is likely to get in 30+ starts.
