Morrissey for Chabot

My first thought on this deal was no, but is it closer than I think? I love Connor's upside, but is there any indication that Ho-Sang can't produce at a high level as well? I think he can and can finish withing 5-10 points most years.

I really like Morrissey but I saw Dobber gave Chabot's fantasy outlook an A+ which he NEVER does for defenseman. Theodore and McAvoy received B+ for example.

Should i try to take the forwards out and just work on a Morrissey for Chabot deal?

I do think Morrissey is the blueliner of the future for WPG, and he adds in 150+ hits and blocks.

Thoughts? Is this a lateral move, should i just work on getting Chabot? Or should i stay put?

That's what I assumed, however, I'm always willing to trade if it means i get the best player.

I saw that dobber was so high on Chabot and wasn't sure if it was agreed upon by everyone that Chabot is going to be this otherworldly defenseman.

I think if it was McAvoy in the deal and not Chabot I would do it. I've seen McAvoy perform at a high level (only a few games but he looked really good). If dobber think Chabot is a whole letter grade above him it made me question the deal.

I hate to lose Connor but Ho-Sang can compensate for that loss and then you get Chabot which I think will be a stud in a few years time.

Not a fan of the initial deal but I'm good with the 2nd one.

Connor for Chabot is fair value, and I'd much rather have Ho-Sang than Stecher (or even Morrissey), so take the deal.

Take the second offer and run. Chabot is the real deal. He dominates everywhere he plays.
The one thing that could hinder his potential is that he plays on a team with Karlsson.

I don't mind Zboril; I think he has very good multicat potential. I was more excited about him getting Ho-Sang
