You're asking for his best player on a team that is.....not so good haha. If I was the Matthews owner I would demand a lot. Risto and Kuch would be my asking price considering the quality of your team and also being an Eichel owner. I would then wait for the obvious counter to come in.
maybe try Kuch and Yandle?

His D is pretty weak for a points only. So are all of his wings - Iginla isn't even in the league right now. Your D is decent and your RW is quite strong. The only D I'd really want to take back would be Krug. I don't know if he over values Matthews...perhaps Risto or Yandle straight up? Or even better for you swap one or two of your wings for Matthews. The big problem I see is that his team is generally very not good. Matthews sticks out as probably his best player so he's going to be looking for serious return.

With the horribleness of his team he's going to want an overpayment and upgrades on at least 2 positions. You'd probably have to give him a not a plummeting downgrade at C, and an upgrade on both D and RW. If he goes for anything less than Eichel, Arvidsson and Ghost, I'd be shocked.

Trying to acquire Matthews is like trying to acquire McDavid; not worth the while. You are massively going to overpay for him.
If you are in fantasy hockey to own your favorite players, then go overpay for Matthews but I doubt it will help you win because you will strip your prime core players to get him. If you are in fantasy hockey to win, then stay the course with your team.

I wouldn't move my Matthews for anything less than Kuch OR Eichel coming back plus a Risto.
But I have Matthews and Not looking to move him.
That said, I was able to trade Eichel straight up for Matthews last season and never looked back.
