Top 6 keepers

Hi,

I'm currently looking into finalizing my top 6 keepers and I'd like some advice. My top 3 are clear (Scheifele, Tarasenko and Pavelski) but then my bottom 3 becomes a question mark. It's between :

- Brandon Saad
- Mike Hoffman
- Shayne Gostisbehere
- Tuukka Rask

Which 3 do you suggest based on the league settings below in my signature ? I'm leaning towards Rask, Gostisbehere and maybe Saad.

Rask and Ghost for sure. Hoffman costs about $1M less than Saad and they should end up with similar point totals (somewhere around 60 points) but I just don't trust Hoffman as much, so I'd take the $1M hit for some certainty. So Rask, Ghost and Saad.

Are you sure there's no reason to consider keeping Barrie instead? How easy is it to find a D-man like him in your league? If and when Colorado starts improving, he should get close to 50 points again. I'd imagine that 50 points from a D-man is worth more than 60 points from a forward.

Whether or not you keep Rask comes down to how easily you think you can replace him. In a 14 team league I'm not so sure I'd want to enter the draft without a goalie. So lets say Rask is locked in unless you have a good reason to do otherwise.

At which point you are deciding between Ghost, Hoffman, & Saad.
I would be tempted to take Hoffman & Saad as I feel uneasy about Ghost, especially with Provorov emerging. Would really come down to how important it is to keep a Dman in your league. Assuming other teams have a similar build then most Dmen will be up for grabs at your draft, and I wouldn't bother keeping anyone but perhaps a top5 at the position.

So my answers are Rask, Saad, and Hoffman/Ghost, depending on your league setup/dynamic.

I'd be considering Carlson over Gostisbehere personally.

I would also keep Rask for sure. No brainer in my eyes.

From there, I'd keep Saad over Hoffman.

I'm leaning towards keeping Rask, Hoffman and Saad. I know Dobber has predicted 55 points for Ghost but I guess there's a lot of concern from everyone here on the forums ! I guess it's probably best to go with some sure bets and I always hate keeping D-man in my keeper 6 unless you have burns or karlsson and company !

I would Keep Rask, Carlson, and Hoffman. I love Saad but he comes with more risk than Hoffman. I prefer Carlson to Ghost. Barrie is a contender as well, but I think both Ghost and especially Carlson are above him on your Pecking order.

i dont understand all the love for Saad, i think it has to do something with 2 caps but he was just complementary piece there. he never surpass 53 points and Hofman done it twice in his 3 years in the league. 3 full years.
