Looking for at least 1 team. League is on Fantrax and our draft is currently set for late September. Each team pays $30 per season and fees are due in early September along with keeper rosters. Looking for guys that understand how keeper leagues work and are in for the long haul. Message me if you're interested.

Format:

This is a keeper league. Entering the draft, you will protect the following:

5 Forwards
3 Defensemen
1 Goalie
1 Rookie forward or defenseman (no goalies) from the previous season (player will be marked with a green "R")

Protected player lists are required to be turned in by each team owner prior to the fall entry draft.

We use Forward (F) instead of individual C, RW & LW positions to simplify team management. Players are only available in the position(s) that Fantrax places them in, so if they mark a player as a forward, then then that player is a forward. Same deal if they're marked as a defensemen. If they show dual-positions, then they can play in either. Burns and Byfuglien are prime examples of this. We used to adjust for it but going forward, it's all in Fantrax' control. It was too much of a headache to manage.


Scoring:

Forwards and Defensemen
Goal (G) - 1 point
Assist (A) - 1 point
Power Play Points (PPP) - 1 point
Game Winning Goal (GWG) - 1 point
Short-Handed Points (SHP) - 2 points
Overtime Points (OTP) - 1 point

Goalies
Win (W) - 2 points (Shootout wins still count as a win)
Assists (A) - 1 point
Shootout Loss (SHOL) - 1 point
Shutout (SO) - 5 points (you also get 2 points for the win, so 7 points total for a shutout)

All points scored by the 17 players on your active roster will count toward your total points accumulated for each game. No points are awarded to benched players. No points are awarded to forwards or defensemen during shootouts but goalies will get points for a shootout win or loss.

(Note: Goalies will be scored same as forwards and defenseman if they get score goals or assists.)

During the season, each team must consist of 20 players as detailed below:

10 Forwards
5 Defensemen
2 Goalies
3 Bench Skaters (Forwards or defensemen only. No goalies allowed in bench positions)
