Im such a huge fan and hes a beast in our format g-4, a-3, sog-0.5 - so a lot of goal/sog weight.

I had 4 1sts and 2 2nds.

I traded my 3rd 1st rounder and my 1st 2nd rounder (gaining his 5 and 6 rounders back) so net gain looks like:

1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, and Aho.

Thoughts?

I can say, with a high degree of confidence, that this trade was either good, bad or just ok....depending on the value of the picks you gave away and got back. We have no idea what those picks can get...

I'm presuming you know the specific pick number of that 1st rounder. Is it 3rd overall? or 19th? I know it's somewhere in that range...

How many picks you have in total and how many picks you have left has really nothing to do with how good or bad a trade is, so I recommend keeping it simple and just saying something like "I gave away picks #xx and #xx for Aho". Right now, I don't really know what you gave away to get him.

No this year (17)- its a 20 team keep 12 team PLUS all the newly drafted players in the pool. That being said you cant afford to hold onto lots of these guys forever...

I can see the first 4-5 rounds be pretty good.

Especially since you said you can't hold on these guys forever. Whats the prospect cutoff in this league?

Can't evaluate this deal until we see next years draft and who's available but I love deals that take less risk.

Sadly, I just traded Aho in my points only.
