Forsberg. He provides more G and SOG and should improve his PPP. Plus he had almost the same amount of points as Marner with a horrible start last season.

I'll be in contention this year.
Would you recommend that I keep Forsberg or Marner?

Forsberg for the same reasons just stated. Don't see Marner a big goal scorer but should be an elite playmaker.
Id seriously consider keeping them both and let Kessel go back for redrafting. At his age, I bet he slides in a draft.

Listen to Axeman. He's a wise one.
You could also look to trade Marner as poolies are often very high on him, netting a nice return.

I'm surprised that people are saying Forsberg, very surprised actually.
Between those two, I'd pick Marner. He's three years younger and was a rookie yet technically outproduced Forsberg by three points. Your league doesn't seem to have the kind of stats to suggest that point production (including PPP) isn't the most important consideration. Not only did he outproduce Forsberg by three points at three years younger, but he did it in about two minutes less of ice-time per game. He also did it in five less games. So, Marner outproduced Forsberg at three years younger, in five less games, and with two less minutes of TOI per game (roughly). Marner also gets to play with the likes of Matthews. While Forsberg plays with some pretty incredible talent himself, there's nobody on Nashville that is at that kind of fantasy level like Matthews. Only reason I could see picking Forsberg is fear of a sophomore slump or his rookie season somehow being an aberration. Forsberg had a lot more SOG, but I do not see how the room for growth in Marner doesn't offset that at least a bit.
