The one that I would be most likely to hold onto is Scherbak. 41 points in 66 games last year in AHL I can see him becoming relevant.

His point totals might look nice but his all-around game is horrible. I don't really see him playing in the NHL unless he makes drastic changes to his game.

I think Juulsen is the best of that bunch. A solid two-way D-man who can put up some points. Roy, Subban and Kylington have upside but they still need to work on their game to become better all-around players.

At this point I wouldn't drop Kylington. I think Juulsen will play in the NHL, but I don't think he will contribute much in the way of offense.

I'd Hold on to :

Noah Juulsen - Looking good, but like mentioned not gonna provide much offense likely

Jordan Subban - Hard cause VAN has an absolute logjam of D, not exactly quality D but Subban has one year left of waiver exemption. New coach was Subban's coach in Utica so if he has a chance it will be with him

Oliver Kylington - Lots of upside, but probably a few years away. Again, with the logjam ahead of him

Nik Scherbak - Another young winger in MTL but lots of upside

Austin Czarnik - He's small, but mamaged to get into 49 games last year with BOS, plays really well in the AHL. I'd hold onto him for at least this year.

It really depends on why you're dropping guys and what there is to pick up to replace them in the end.

I agree, although I'm really not a fan of Scherbak. He does have name value, though, so I wouldn't drop him outright.
