Koivu for Vatrano in a rebuild
I've been offered Vatrano for my Koivu in a rebuild. Do you think I could get more for him or should I take this offer? Categories are G, A, +/-, SOG, ATOI, FOW, STP, DEF, HIT, PIM, BLK.

Hmm, Koivu is still a beast in the FOW dot (5th best last year) and still had a productive year last year under Boudreau.
What does the rest of your roster look like? Is Vatrano an upgrade to anyone on your roster considering he's a winger?
My initial reaction is to say no thanks and just keep riding Koivu, even in a rebuild. I doubt you will ever get true value for him because he's 34 years old.

I should note that ESPN has Vatrano as a C right now, but I feel (hope) they will give him LW eligiblity at some point. Same with Domi

How many do you start at each position? You do have a lot of centers but doesn't Domi, Spezza and Gagner also have wing eligibility?

4 for each position. And at the moment, they do not. ESPN removed a bunch of positions from players in the offseason.

And Vatrano is also listed as a center but you are hoping he gets LW eligibilty (stupid ESPN)? I have no doubt he will because he's not a center but then again, neither is Domi or Gagner (anymore). Same for Spezza, who plays wing just as much, if not more than he does center now. I expect them to get wing eligibility at some point as well.
I dont know, I dont see Vatrano as much more than a 3rd line guy. Do what you think you need to do, but I don't think you'll get much production from Vatrano. The Bruins have plenty of good young options coming up on the left side. Guys like Cehlarik, Bjork and Heinen could all push Vatrano down. Then again, Vatrano could also surprise. He just hasn't been overly consistent in the NHL yet. I'll let others voice their opinion on the subject. I still don't like the deal for you.
