Honestly, I think both have inflated value, but with no PPP bonus and Shatty on the Rangers, I think Werenski is the better option of the two.

I really wanted to come on here and say Shattenkirk, but I think it has to be Werenski. Sigh, it's looking unanimous.

Whoa, I actually can't believe everyone is voting for Werenski lol
Shattenkirk is one of the best D to own in pts-only format. I have him in the 3rd tier of fantasy D.
Tier 1:
Karlsson
Tier2:
Burns
Hedman
Letang
Tier3:
Shattenkirk
Josi
Byfuglien
OEL
Subban
Shattenkirk is 7th in the NHL in pts per game since 2014-15. I hear complaints about him being a Rangers but he played for a defensive minded team in St-Louis and that didn't stop him.

Shattenkirk for me. I think your window to win is the next few years. You have a lot of studs who will drop off quite a bit after that. IMO Shattenkirk will score more points than Werenski in the next 3 seasons and increases your likelihood of a championship before you start to retool your roster for the long term.
I prefer Shattenkirk's consistent performance in your roster to go for a title over Werenski who could go through some growing pains offensively.
