How many teams are in this league?

By first glance, I like your team a lot. My guess is that you could turn 2 of your hitters into a more offensive player. Depending on the size of the league, you need some offense.

I'd look to package two hitters for a 50-60 point forward.

Thanks man, may be hard to grab a 50-60 pt guy as I am already up against the cap
16 teams in the league, hopefully some of the younger guys take the next step

Yikes - with that many players on each of 16 teams it will be difficult to help your team by any means other than trades. I think Shattenkirk won't be much more than a 45-50 point defenseman in New York, and his value/hype is likely never going to be higher. I'd be looking to trade him and a hitter type for a top forward (one with at least 70+ point potential). Beyond that, just try to do trades where you're buying low and selling high and that will help you little by little.

Look to move Tyler Johnson, he's only going to dissapoint.
Don't you dare touch your goalies.
Defence is good. If you can move Shattenkirk for someone a little cheaper and get a piece with it, go for it. Maybe Alec Martinez and a solid prospect or something.
Forwards are a bit all over the place, but solid.

All in all you don't need to do too much. Get the lay of the land in the league before making any big trades.

Listen to Rizz - look at trading Shattenkirk after about 20-25 games as he usually starts off hot then tails off ( check stats last 5 years), could package him with someone for a good upgrade. decent team to take over - solid young goalies - might have to pick up their backups if you can.

In a 16 team league this roster feels solid to me. Your goaltending is excellent, and you have some both solid scoring and upside in your forward ranks. Pastrnak and Forsberg are nice pieces to have. Lindholm and Fabbri are good candidates to step up this year.

Look to make otherwise lateral moves, maybe moving bigger names like Shattenkirk as suggested by for comparable players where you pick up prospect upgrades. Have you done the prospect draft for this year yet?

i moved shattenkirk for niskanen barzal and hudon....WASNT a big drop off in terms of FP niskanen vs shattenkirk
