Right now, I'd give the edge to DD. In another three seasons, I would choose Vasilevskiy.
Best goalie : Right now and later on in the future
Best team: Now and then
- Minnesota Wild
- Tampa Bay Lightning
Which would be the better goalie this season and years down the road :
- Devan Dubnyk
- Andrei Vasilevskiy
Right now, I'd give the edge to DD. In another three seasons, I would choose Vasilevskiy.

Bottlenecker : you say in another three seasons you would consider choosing Vasileski.
So who would you recommend now until then, would be the better pick this season.
- Devan Dubnyk
- Sergei Bobrovsky
I'd go with Bob here. He has had ups and downs but he has a proven track record and his team is built to last.
He's the best bet for now and future production IMO.

Dubnyk now, 1000%. His back-up will be either Stalock or Svedberg. That spells 65-70 starts. Vas has Budaj, who we saw can step in.
As for the future, Vas has a chance to be special but I think there's still a risk he turns out to be mediocre at best, whereas we know what Dubnyk is and three years from now he'll be 34 but still likely close to how good he is now.

If you got a trade on table take Vas, as this year Dubs should be the better - maybe not by much, but 2-3 years down the road Vas will be the one and he will probably be too expensive to acquire. If you got Vas then keep him.
