    Default 2017 Draft - Rounds 2-7 sleepers

Thought it might be nice to get a list of who the potential fantasy sleepers are from these Rds of this draft. Mainly Forwards and Defence as goalies are discussed in another thread.
I'll start with some of the more obvious:

    NHague
    IRatcliffe
    MStrome

Are we talking about your leagues 2-7 rounds or the NHL? cause if so Ratcliffe and Hague are not sleepers at all. In some rankings they were expected to go in the 1st round.

In case others are not having much luck finding any info on Lodina, there was a typo (happens to the best of us) and it's spelled Lodnia. Thanks for the big breakout scoop!

I'll have to look more into Lodnia but Joni Ikonen and Alexei Lipanov were the first guys that came to mind for me. Lipanov will be coming to Canada this year to play with Barrie in the O alongside Kirill Nizhnikov and Andrei Svechnikov. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do when Barrie visits Hamilton.

Apologies for the typo. I'm high on Lodnia because he played second fiddle to the big guys in Erie this past year, and I think with some more ice freed up for him, he is going to put in a good season this year.

I consider a "sleeper" to be someone I want to draft earlier than he was drafted in the NHL draft, so for that reason I'm going to exclude guys like Boqvist, Heponiemi, Salo and Zetterlund who I also like but wouldn't draft much earlier than their NHL draft position. These guys are higher on my list than where they got drafted.

    Jason Robertson
    Isaac Ratcliffe
    Kole Lind
    Joni Ikonen
    Maxime Comtois
    Jonah Gadjovich
    Grant Mismash
    Alexei Lipanov
    Nikita Popugayev
    Ostap Safin
    Matthew Strome
    Sebastian Aho (the Swedish D-man)
    Nicholas Henry
    Mason Shaw
    Ivan Lodnia
    Markus Phillips
    Adam Ruzicka
    Noel Hoefenmayer

And also pretty much all the goalies that were drafted: DiPietro, Petruzzelli, Zhukov, Ustimenko, Skinner, Tarasov

He was drafted with pick #72, and I wouldn't draft him before that. I wouldn't mind drafting him but after that.

Fair enough. He was probably the first one off the board from that tier, so waiting on whoever falls later in drafts may make the most sense.
He was the one I drafted in one league with a pick somewhere in that range. I think it was late 50s. Anyways, was just curious on if you had a reason you were red-flagging him. I guess here it was just relative to the definition of the sleeper.

Yeah, he's in the same group with Petruzzelli, Zhukov, Ustimenko, Skinner and Tarasov for me. I wouldn't reach too much for any of them, I'd rather wait and see who drops.
