So throw a pick or a prospect his way? Gaudreau+Leipsic/McCarron/Aberg/etc or a high draft pick? He's clearly in cap trouble so I don't want to send him a high cost player.

The manager that owns Josi declined only because of cap issues but then I looked at his cap and if he were to accept the deal then it'd only put him over by $200K which I think is reasonable. He might be another manager that I can possibly add to the original offer to sway him a bit.

I'll keep gunning for Kling until the manager essentially shuts me down entirely. He only had told me that the original 1 for 1 swap was a fair deal but wanted to keep Kling since D are hard to come by, so hopefully I can sweeten it a bit more and get the deal done.

So a Gaudreau+Niskanen type of deal for Kling+? The only issue is that he's well over the cap, and I was thinking of doing Reinhart cause I know he won't move Wennberg (also he's not really under the radar) but Reinhart is really cheap. Maybe Okposo? His injury last season might have him weary a bit.

He said, again, that it was a fair offer but he could just not move Klingberg right now. He then sent me this counter:

I get: Barrie, Pysyk, Reinhart, and Raddysh

I have really high hopes for Theodore, it took a lot from me just to get him so I don't really care for the move...especially if it doesn't involve getting Klingberg.

Doesn't seem like this manager wants to move Kling at all unless it blows him out of the water. May be a lost cause so I will likely go after Josi if possible.

Manager that owns Josi said "I'll have to look but I doubt it my teams better with josi then gaudreau. Also have very few replacing dman" when I asked him if there was anything I could add to the Gaudreau deal to make it sweeter for him so that I can get Josi.

I've tried every angle I could go after, just doesn't seem that anyone wants Gaudreau. It's not that I NEED a defenseman but I would like to have a solid 6th D since Bowey, Murphy, and Koekkoek aren't guaranteed to be in the lineup.
