Krug or OEL

In a point only league, who do you think will produce best this year? Krug or OEL?

As much as I love OEL, since it's a points only league I gotta go with Krug. Krug's ice time has been the highest it has ever been for him these past two seasons and he's proven his worth.

Just been working on defence the last couple days and have them separated by 2 pts. In a keeper or one year league I would take OEL. He apparently was battling through some injuries last season which should be healed up by now. Should be close either way, i think when it's this close it's more of a preference pick.

Plus OEL has the best hockey name and will make your team look very good on paper

OEL had two HUGE factors working against him last year in his wrist injury and his mother's declining health. While Krug is pretty darn solid, I think OEL has another gear that Krug doesn't.

I am not quite ready to give up on OEL yet myself.

I go with Krug here.... he had a disastrous first month of the season and still ended up with 50 points.


And by disastrous it was 0 points in first 8 games (10% of season) and only like 3 points in first 16 games (20%) of the season.

That means he had 48 points in the last 66 games of the season.

Those aren't perfect numbers but I recall it being a horrible start and those are numbers that stick out in my memory.

OEL has put up some pretty decent numbers on some pretty awful teams. Help is finally starting to arrive. I don't think we've seen near his offensive potential yet.

I like Krug in points only but, my gut says go with OEL. So my pick is OEL

Pretty split here. Think both will be very close in points only. BUT I think OEL has the better name recognition and might fetch more in return, so he'd be my choice. Yes, those two factors last year played a part in his mediocre year. Rebound coming.
